The police have registered a case against a man from Gajularamaram after he was allegedly found viewing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on Instagram and sharing links to such content with others.
The suspect, identified as Sanappa, came under the radar of a US-based child protection and monitoring organisation after his online activities were detected.
As per information available, the organisation had reportedly passed information about his activities through a tip line to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
