Harish Rao demands appointment of full-time TVVP Director

BRS deputy floor leader T Harish Rao demanded the immediate appointment of a full-time Director of the Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad (TVVP). He said the absence of a full-time Director was affecting the functioning of 184 hospitals under the TVVP.City & Local Guides
A delegation of the Telangana Medical Education Employees Joint Action Committee met Harish Rao at his residence on Tuesday and submitted a representation highlighting its issues.
Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao stated that the TVVP, which provides specialised services such as gynaecology, orthopaedics, urology and paediatrics in rural and urban areas, had been functioning without a full-time Director for the past two months. He observed that this had affected the supervision of hospital functioning, medical services, doctors’ attendance, laboratory tests and the availability of medicines.
