n a late-night development on Saturday, the AIMIM announced that Baig, a long-time party leader, had been expelled from the party with immediate effect. The party also directed him to submit his resignation as a Member of the Legislative Council to the Chairperson of the Telangana Legislative Council.

The alleged video became a subject of intense discussion on social media after the AIMIM’s late-night announcement, with several users attempting to find or circulate information about its contents.

Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader and Hyderabad Youth Courage president Salman Khan alleged that an AIMIM MLA and a former corporator were also connected to the controversy. He demanded that AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi publicly explain the reasons for Baig’s expulsion.
BJYM leader Nitin Nandkar also released a video questioning the AIMIM’s decision and demanded that the party disclose the reasons for taking action against the MLC.
