Woman, her son killed in accident on Khammam-Devarapalli Greenfield highway

A woman and her son were killed, while a couple of others were injured, in a road accident on the newly opened Khammam-Devarapalli Greenfield National Highway in the district on Thursday. The deceased, Pokabathini Sujatha (38) and Pavan (17) of Gandhi Nagar in Chintakani mandal in the district, were travelling in a car towards Hyderabad when the incident took place.
