Wakf Board files complaint over alleged land encroachment near Hyderabad airport
The Pahadishareef police have registered a case following a complaint by the Telangana Wakf Board over the alleged encroachment and illegal sale of land belonging to Dargah Hazrath Baba Sharfuddin at Mamidipally, near the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.Telangana government updates
The complaint was lodged by Wakf Inspector Mohd Khader Mohiuddin after local Wakf activists and residents brought the matter to the notice of the Board.
In his complaint, the inspector alleged that a few individuals, including Farooq, Rafeeq Shaik and Zeeshan, along with others, were illegally selling Wakf land to unsuspecting purchasers and facilitating unauthorised constructions.
